The forums in Drupal look good enough for the purpose and the web folks like the platform. Looks like RIPE Labs will be launched based on Drupal.


A shame we cannot get single sign-on that way, but the LifeRay forums are just not developed enough. We will launch the site and see how we can use credentials people already have later. A pain but we cannot wait. Expect some critisism from members. Hope to convince them that having Labs now is better than waiting...

RIPE Labs 1.0 was based on Drupal. RIPE Labs 2.0 is based on Plone.
